Greetings!! 🙂
Welcome to my paranormal romance blog! I’ll be posting little shorts – hopefully one a week or every two – that connect to the novels I’m working on. I want to introduce the world I’ve created, and even some of the main characters from the novels. Mostly their pasts before their story begins.
I also want to post about whatever writing resources I find. I’ve found several good websites and books so far that I’ll be posting on in the next week or so.
Yep, so I’ll be taking the writing world by storm! I’ll be topping the best-seller lists! My over-the-top-fantastic stories will be made into a TV series and several movies that are so epic that they top Titanic and Avatar! I shall take over the world with my writing! *mwa-ha-ha-ha-etc* (insert evil jazz hands) ….. *ahem* But, uh… maybe I should just focus on trying to get published first. *cough, cough*….
I’ve never been published, and I am beginning to collect a colorful assortment of rejections, so I must say I feel like I’m becoming somewhat of a rejection connoisseur – from the ‘no reply’ type of no to the ‘wow, uh, thanks for… whatever that was… but no… just…. just no….’ type of no. So I’m also hoping this blog will keep me writing even when I have writer’s block, and help me hone my craft so I can get that one ‘yes’ I need…. and then on to taking over the world…
I keep remembering one of my english teachers giving us a paper to write on punctuation, and at one point she looked up at us and said “‘Comma’ is spelled with two m’s – I certainly hope no one is having a ‘coma’ in the middle of sentences.” So yeah, that’s what I’ll be working on mainly. Hopefully no one will have a coma in the middle of my stories. 🙂

I’m hoping to get chapter two of Beyond the Gate up this weekend, and maybe – *maybe* – in the future I’ll post some art work of my characters, lol. I’m really not an artist at all, but I really wanted to try it. So I’m trying to teach myself, and I may be adding that as well in a month or two. If I’m brave enough, lol. 🙂 Have a good weekend!
