Taking A Short Break

Avacyn Angel of Hope art  Hello all – sorry I don’t have a chapter ready this week. I’ve had some things going on with the family.

My grandpa broke his leg, and had to be hospitalized. Things were looking good after surgery, but last week he took a turn for the worse and he went into hospice. He passed away Saturday.

I’ve been helping out with cleaning up his house for a small get-together after the funeral, and I’ve also been helping to get a slide-show of pictures ready for the funeral as well.

I haven’t really been in the right frame of mind to write much of anything up to this point. I’m thinking I’ll get back to The Dreamer next week. I did put together a post for Legends Undying last week on language building that I’d like to share with you for now though. It was inspired by a conversation I was having with Disperser about naming characters, and I had been wanting to write something about language building for a while so I figured it was a good time. Lol, I will admit that I copied a large portion of the post from our conversation. 🙂 And I also have my second Blog Hop Challenge to finish up, so you’ll be seeing that soon too. 🙂

I took this week off work to be with the family. Lol, my wallet is not happy about that – I don’t have bereavement time where I work, but thankfully they’re okay with me taking this time.

I’m considering writing something for my grandpa – he’s one of my real life heroes. I have an idea in mind, but we’ll see how it turns out. I’m thinking I may post it here to share with you guys if it works out okay.

Until next time, Take Care and Happy Writing.
