I just wanted to wish you all a very Happy Valentine’s Day!! 🙂
I also wanted to let you know I plan on posting something this week, lol. I’m thinking it’ll be that first shima guide I’ve been working on. It will give you some more info on the aspects you’ve seen so far in the stories, and just a little on a few aspects I haven’t fully introduced yet. 🙂 I plan on updating it as I go.
The chapter I wanted to share isn’t quite ready yet – I’m thinking I’ll have it finished up for this weekend though. 🙂 I’ll be posting my entry for the Legends Undying “There Be Dragons Here” writing contest first. Then next week I’ll be getting started on the next short story in the series – lol, still untitled. It takes me forever to come up with titles.
Do you ever have that trouble? How do you decide on titles?

I am terrible at titles. I usually beg other people to help me, LOL!
Lol, me too. 🙂 I try and put a list together and then I run the options by different people to see what they think.
Growing up in California, the standardized tests used to make you read a paragraph and come up with a title for it. Because of that, I actually became quite good at seeing themes and picking titles! Usually the way I do it, is think about how I would describe the theme of the story metaphorically. Learning to summarize your story in a single sentence, then a few words, can help you narrow down titles, too.
Thank you for the advice! 🙂 I’ll definitely give that a try. Lol, I’m bad at summarizing my story too – that’s a big part of what I get stuck on in query letters too. So I think learning to work through it like that will help in that area too. 🙂
