I shake my head, weariness settling over me. “I feel bad for what happened with Briall,” I say, meeting Sylas’ gaze. “But it’s time to go back. Our contacts here can take care of Karinn.”
Sylas frowns, but agrees grudgingly. It’s clear he doesn’t like this at all.
“We’ve got plenty to occupy us once we get back to Denerim,” Caleb says. “We need to focus on re-building the Silent Blades.”
“We need to make sure we get back to what we used to be,” I say, determined. “Now that we’ve proven our innocence, we need to start over, without Jeremiah’s influence tainting everything.”
Neutral Ending 3
After we return to Denerim, I devote myself to re-building the Silent Blades. The remaining members renew their oaths, and the few that wanted to become a mercenary organization have long since left, after hearing of Jeremiah’s death.
The reports I get from Tevinter are disturbing. The disappearances in Minrathous are only increasing, and demons seem to be popping out everywhere. Karinn’s estate was abandoned when our contact’s men got there, but they did manage to find evidence of Jeremiah’s involvement with her.
It seems like she may have gotten what she was after in the end, unfortunately. A hidden room was found, connected to her study, filled with blood stains and burned remnants of research notes that don’t make any sense.
I can’t decide if we left Tevinter too soon, or just in time.
Either way, I have a new issue to focus on. The Breach.
Whatever happened at the Conclave, between the mages and the templars, the world is going crazy all around me because of it. They seem less concerned about the rifts popping up everywhere, than they are about blaming each other.
My only hope is the Inquisition. They seem like the only people who want to focus on the real issue.
I’m looking into them now.
I hope we may have found a new potential ally.

Again, with little background to go on, I can’t really judge this ending.
Yeah, with this one Karinn just gets to go on her merry way, lol. Also not my favorite.
In the Dragon Age games, Tevinter (Minrathous is like the capital, I guess) is ruled by mages, and most of them abuse their power. They have elven slaves, and use blood magic behind closed doors. They say they don’t, but it’s pretty clear they do. In other countries, templars watch over the mages, to make sure they don’t turn in to abominations (using blood magic and making deals with demons can eventually corrupt them into becoming demons, more or less), but in Tevinter templars are pretty much just there for show, if they’re there at all.
