Characteristics:
- Hair – black, blond, brown, red
- Eyes – blue, brown, gold, gray, green, hazel, purple
- Skin – pale to very light brown
- Affinity – hypnotism; mind control; mind reading; non-elemental magic
- Alternate Forms – None
- Fenir – unknown
As the tenth aspect created by God, Sathrana are the farthest from the light. The balance of light and dark within them leans towards the dark. Because of this, sathrana have the hardest time adjusting to their powers. They are the most tempted by them, and must cleanse themselves more often than any other aspect, except garshikna.

Aspect 9: Jahuni (Dragon)
Characteristics:
- Hair – black, blond, brown, red
- Eyes – blue, brown, gold, gray, green, hazel, purple
- Skin – light tan to dark brown
- Affinity – non-elemental magic; either light, nature, or one type of elemental magic; can turn themselves to stone
- Alternate Forms –
- Half shima, half dragon form: scales over parts of the extremities and torso, horns, small fangs, shorter claw-like nails, leathery wings, and a change in skin color
- Full dragon form: huge body, full-body scales, horns, sharp teeth, claws, tail, leathery wings, spikes down the spine to the tail

- Fenir – Bejarn
Jahunina were the ninth aspect created by God. Their balance of light and dark leans more towards the dark. They are more tempted by their powers, and have to cleanse themselves more often.

- Alternate Forms – dream walker

Lukeshna were the eighth aspect created by God. The balance of light and dark within them leans more towards the dark. They can be more tempted by their powers, and usually cleanse themselves more often.

Mahegina were the seventh aspect created by God. Their balance of light and dark energy is a little more towards the dark.

As part of trying to promote Tales of Ejoma, I asked Yecheilyah Ysrayl (aka EC) of Pearls Before Swine if I could participate in her series of author interviews, and she kindly agreed! Because she’s awesome! 😀

Aspect 1: Garshik
Aspect 1: Garshik (Angel/Guardian)
Characteristics:
- Hair – white and shades of silver
- Eyes – shades of silver, metallic
- Skin – very pale, light tan, light brown
- Affinity – high affinity for all types of magic except void; especially attuned to light magic and healing; they have the strongest magical power out of all shimana by a large margin
- Alternate Forms – can transform to have wings. Wings are like classic angel wings: feathers are white, pale gray, either of those colors tipped with a silvery sheen, or a mix. Garshikna have a natural faint glow that surrounds them when they’re transformed.
- Fenir – Kronen
As the first aspect of shimana God created, garshikna are the closest to the light. Magic with higher concentrations of darkness can sicken them, depending on how strong the magic is. They’re also the most sensitive to those who abuse their power, and more easily recognize those who suffer from hajithra.
